Codata Factsheet | Nogent-sur-Marne (city centre 2025)

Last June, our team of data-collectors conducted the annual census of the city centre of Nogent-sur-Marne. The city centre encompasses 260 locations, of which 234 are retail locations. Among the retail locations, 218 are occupied by shops.

Vacancy rate

The commercial vacancy rate in Nogent-sur-Marne remained stable between the last two censuses conducted by Codata: 5.5% in 2024 compared to 5.6% in 2025.

Retailers’ occupancy rate

In 2025, the percentage of shops occupied by retailers decreased. It stands at 38.1%, down from 39.3% in 2024. Two retailers have opened in the city centre. These are Laura Todd (sweet snacks) and Lamy (real estate agency).

Evolution of activities: top 3 most represented activities

The “Perfumes-Beauty-Body care” activity has become the sector occupying the most retail units in the city centre. With 46 occupied stores (compared to 42 in 2024), this activity accounts for 21.1% of retail units in Nogent-sur-Marne.

While they shared first place last year with the “Perfumes-Beauty-Body care” sector, “Services” has moved into second place with 19.3% (i.e., 42 occupied premises).

With 17.4% occupancy, or 38 establishments, “Cafés-Hotels-Restaurants” complete the top three most represented sectors of activity.
